The book fair will be October 24th to October 26th! Please keep an eye out for the prepay form in your child’s backpack. There will also be a BOOKS and Buddies Breakfast on Thursday, October 26th. All are welcome! This is a wonderful Hindley Fundraiser for both parents and children.*
The Book Fair Committee would love any and all help from Monday, October 23rd until Friday, October 27th. It is a fantastic way to spend time with your children and help with Hindley’s fundraising! Click here for the Sign-up Genius. You can find your child’s classroom schedule here.
The Book Fair Committee will be offering quiet times for shopping for those students who would prefer to shop without the distractions of a full class browsing for books. The times set aside are 1:40pm to 2:10pm each day the fair is open. There is no need to RSVP for a time slot. You can simply let your child’s teacher know, and meet your child to help him or her choose some books! If you have any questions, please contact Justine Mullin.
Hindley School is sensitive to children who may require special accommodations at PTO-sponsored events. If you have a special request, please contact Rebecca Laus, Assistant Principal (203-655-1323 or firstname.lastname@example.org).
This year we will be offering the Hindley Directory in both a print and on-line version. The price for both is $16. To help alleviate parking issues, please consider walking if you live nearby or carpooling. St. John’s Church, next door to Hindley on Post Road, has kindly offered to allow our parents to use its parking lot. If you do use this parking lot, you may only use the back parking lot. Please do NOT park along the driveway that borders the Hindley grounds, and please do NOT park in the front lot that is closest to the church and pre-school, as pre-school will be in session. Please keep these rules in mind if you use the St. John’s parking lot for any Hindley event.
We are excited to announce that Girls On The Run will be returning to Hindley this fall for girls in grades 3-5! Together, we will inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.
