The Hindley PTO invites you to our next meeting on Wed. Jan. 11th at 7 p.m. in the Common Room. Our guest speaker will be Scarlett Lewis, founder of the Jesse Lewis Choose Love Foundation. Following the death of her son Jesse at Sandy Hook, Scarlett was inspired by a simple three-word message he had scrawled on their kitchen chalkboard. The message of “nurturing healing love” guided her to start the Choose Love Foundation, which provides educational materials and a curriculum based on the fundamental concepts and skills of social and emotional learning, informed by current research and neuroscience. The goal of the Choose Love Program is to provide children with the knowledge, attitude and skills they need to choose love in any situation.
