Hello Hindley Families! We would like to introduce ourselves as this year’s Teacher Appreciation Committee. We are very excited to work with everyone throughout the year to help make our wonderful Hindley teachers feel all the love and appreciation. This year the committee will be ensuring that the teacher’s lounge is stocked with coffee, tea, seltzer and light snacks on a regular basis. You may have seen the donation sign up go out for this earlier in the week and a big thanks to everyone who signed up to donate. We will continue to reach out throughout the school year as more supplies are needed.
The committee will also be planning and organizing several events for teachers such as luncheons, themed breakfasts and a candy bar for Halloween and Valentine’s Day. The committee will also work closely with Caroline and Katie to ensure our teachers know how much we care about them especially over the week surrounding teacher appreciation day in May. We also want to kindly remind all families that these events can only be successful with your contributions. Please watch for emails with opportunity to sign up and make a small donation to these events throughout the year.
We are already planning the event for October’s Halloween Candy Bar to be set up in the Teacher’s Lounge on Tuesday, October 31st, sponsored by the 5th Grade Class. Parents of 5th graders should have already received an email about donating to the candy bar. If you haven’t contributed yet but would like to, please access the link to our Amazon wishlist here and purchase before October 27th to ensure delivery before Halloween.
