Registration is open NOW and closes on February 27th, 2026.
- AAA, Minors and Majors
- Tee-Ball: $150
- A/AA: $300
- AAA/Minors/Majors: $375
DLL’s policy is that all children will have the opportunity to play regardless of ability to pay. To request a DLL scholarship, please email DLL President John Butler at john.butler@psc.com. Scholarship requests and grants are handled discreetly and confidentially.

2026 House Softball Program Information:
Team Formation:
We run a grade-based program in the House Softball Lower Leagues to foster friendships (and friendly rivalries) among school classmates, which is one of DLL’s principal objectives. We recognize that experience / ability (and sometimes ages) vary significantly within grade levels. While perhaps imperfect, DLL believes the overall good of having players play house softball primarily with classmates serves the community best. From Tee Ball through AA, teams are organized by elementary school primarily. “Buddy Requests” are considered during EARLY BIRD registration ONLY and will be accommodated if possible on a first come first served basis. Make sure to register EARLY and make any ‘buddy requests’ in the registration form. Buddy requests provided after January 9th will not be considered.
AAA, Minors, and Majors teams are organized by grade as numbers permit and adjusted for a goal of approximate team parity. In other words, we try to ensure that all of the teams are competitive.
2026 House Softball Anticipated Schedule:
- Tee Ball: Kindergarten (please note: your child must be enrolled in Kindergarten to be eligible. Kindergarten-eligible Pre-K students should register for Little Sluggers) – Clinic on Saturday from 8:30-9:30.
- A Ball: 1st Grade – Clinic on Saturday from 9:45-11:00. Game on Sunday.
- AA Ball: 2nd Grade – Clinic on Saturday from 11:15-12:30. Game on Sunday.
- AAA Ball: 3rd/4th Graders (placement determined after evaluation) – Practice on Thursday. Games on Tuesday and Saturday (afternoon).
- Minors: 4th/5th Graders (placement determined after evaluation) – Practice on Tuesday. Games on Wednesday and Saturday (afternoon).
- Majors: 5th-7th Graders (placement determined after evaluation) – Practice on Wednesday. Games on Thursday and Saturday (afternoon).
* Note: AAA, Minors and Majors games on Saturdays will occasionally be ‘away’ in neighboring towns (i.e. New Canaan, Westport, Wilton, etc.). If your daughter plays travel softball, they are required to participate in the House program. Best efforts will be made for AAA, Minors and Majors to accommodate their travel practice schedules.
We do our best to work with DSA and DYLAX to avoid scheduling conflicts for house programs by grade, when possible.
Important Dates:
- 2/27/2026: Registration closes
- 3/25/2026: Softball Safety/Coaches Clinic at 7pm (please note, if you volunteer to coach please plan to attend this meeting)
- 4/1/2026: AAA/Minors/Majors season begins (weather permitting)
- 4/25/2026: Tee/A/AA season begins
- 6/6/2025: Closing Day
