Hello Hindley families!
Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week and we have a really fun schedule of themed events planned for our wonderful teachers and staff! We do need everyone’s help to make the week extra special. On Thursday, we are delivering personalized packages of handwritten notes to all teachers and staff, but we can’t do this without receiving the love from all our students.
Please help us and have your student(s) create a handmade card, formal card, picture, drawing, anything they would like, to show their love and appreciation for their teacher. They can and should make a couple so that we can include all paras, specials teachers, monitors, secretaries, principals, nurse Grant, etc. who all help make our school such a warm place. We will collect all notes over the course of the next week so ask that you have them dropped off by Tuesday, 5/6. There will be a marked bin in the school lobby so kids can drop them during school hours, or you can alternately drop off notes to Danielle Seitz at 17 Maple Street. There will also be a marked bin on the front porch.
In addition to these special packages we will wrap and deliver to staff, we will also be refilling the teacher’s lounge with coffee and snacks to help fuel our teachers in these last couple months of school. Get ready to celebrate our incredible teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week! We’ve planned an epic lineup of treats and gifts to show just how much we appreciate their hard work and dedication.
Monday 5/5 – Charcuterie Board Snack Party: “Start the Week Off with a Snack Attack, No Cap!” We’re kicking things off with a delicious spread of personalized charcuterie & snack boards to fuel our amazing teachers for the week ahead.
Tuesday 5/6 – Taco Truck: “Taco ‘Bout a Tasty Tuesday!” We’ve got a taco truck rolling in to serve up some seriously bussin’ tacos. Teachers, get ready to indulge in some flavorful fun!
Wednesday 5/7 – Massages by Cristina: “Midweek Vibes Only – Time to Chillax!” It’s time to unwind with relaxing stretch therapy & massages. Our teachers deserve all the chill vibes to keep them going strong.
Thursday 5/8 – Books of Gratitude & Staff Room Restock: “Thank You Thursday – Teachers Slay Every Day!” We’re creating personalized books of gratitude in sweet packages to let our teachers and staff know how much they mean to us. Heartfelt messages, photos, and drawings will make these books truly special. In addition, the staff room will be restocked with donated essentials.
Friday 5/9 – Special Gifts of Gratitude: “Friday Feels – Shine Bright, Teach!” To wrap up the week, we’re gifting our teachers with some stylish drip, Goodr sunglasses. Let’s help them shine bright and take on the world with confidence.
Let’s make this week unforgettable and show our teachers just how much we all appreciate them. They truly are the real MVPs!
