Hindley’s Nominating Committee is actively recruiting volunteers for the 2025-2026 school year. All of our PTO events are volunteer run, but without volunteers, we can’t make these events happen! The funds raised from these events support value-added experiences such as field trips, schoolwide enrichment (i.e. author visits, STEM and arts events), and staff appreciation. The following committees currently have openings:
Executive Board: Co-Vice President (1)*Will support the PTO Co-Presidents throughout the school year and shadow their role for assumption the following year. Will assign and manage Room Parents.
Executive Board: Assistant Treasurer (1)*Will support the Treasurer in managing the finances of the PTO and preparing/dispersing budget information.
The Fall Cocktail Party and Silent Auction (2)*Will identify a venue, coordinate food/beverages, arrange entertainment/decor, and publicize the event. A second chair will coordinate the evening’s Silent Auction.
Hindley Yearbook (2)*Will compile, organize, type, and arrange sales and distribution.
Hindley Wire (2)*Will collect, organize, and edit all-school and community information in a weekly e-newsletter sent on Sundays throughout the school year.
Nominating Committee (1) *Will identify open PTO slate positions, advertise openings, and encourage parents to volunteer.
Girls Tall & Small (1)*Will organize and plan an evening event at school for Hindley girls and their parents/caregivers.
