This June, the Darien Community Association is partnering with Darien elementary schools for an Upcycle School Supply Drive to keep gently used school supplies out of landfills and support local organizations and students in need. Hindley will have a designated collection area in the library. Students will bring down their used/extra school supplies from their classrooms and place into the bins. Once supplies have been collected the DCA will sort and share with schools and community organizations that need them most. This is completely optional— If you do not want your child to donate their used/extra school supplies please let us know by June 12th by email: kellyhanan@gmail.com.
