Darien Human Services is looking for donors to “adopt” a local family or senior in need to help
make their holiday celebration a little brighter! Donors can be an individual or group, such as a
book club, scout troop, youth group or club, etc.
How it Works: Instead of purchasing gifts, the department requests gift cards to give recipients
flexibility and to make giving easier. Donors are matched anonymously and receive guidance to
personalize gift cards and optional small gift items. Gifts are dropped off at Town Hall and
Human Services will deliver in time for the holidays.
