Help Us Create Something Beautiful – Ribbon and Fabric Remnants Needed!
We’re inviting our community to help bring a special creative project to life! For an upcoming art installation at the Darien Nature Center, we are collecting ribbons of blue and green colors,textures, and sizes to be woven together into a collaborative piece celebrating nature and community.
If you have spare ribbon and fabric at home—from gift wrapping, sewing projects, or craft supplies—we would love to give it a second life.
How you can help:
- Donate ribbon or fabric of blue and green color
- Drop it off at the Darien Nature Center front desk – 120 Brookside Rd, Darien
- Contributions are welcome through April 25, 2026 – the date of Spring Into Nature, our Earth Day event
Every ribbon will become part of a larger piece created by our community, symbolizing the many threads that connect us to each other and to the natural world.
