Post 53 will be offering an EMR Certification (Emergency Medical Responder) class this summer at Post 53 headquarters. The course is open to all Adult residents, Darien Fire, Police and Town employees. The EMR course, which runs Monday evenings, Thursday evenings, and a few Saturdays from June 2nd to approx. July 19th, will teach life-saving skills to the Emergency Medical Responder level. The sessions will include in person training, hands on skills and lectures. Adults who complete the class will also have an option to join Post 53. Cost is $650.
