The DEI Committee is excited to invite you to participate in this year’s Hindley Heritage Celebration Night, Thursday, February 9th 5:30-7:30pm. You may have noticed the flyers that came home with your students last week. This is an incredible, free opportunity for students to see one another on a deeper level and learn about different heritages within our community. We’d love to see you and your families attend, or better yet host a table and share your heritage!
HERE are pictures from our inaugural event last year. As you can see, families shared a wide range of traditions, food, information, games, activities, etc. You can go as big or as small as you like.
Please sign up for a table on Signup Genius and indicate the theme for your table so that we can make sure to coordinate those that overlap. Don’t feel limited by geographic heritage; feel free to choose a value, tradition, or hobby that means a lot to your family. Please reach out to bc.erickson@gmail.com for more information.
