As previously announced, on February 5th the Board of Education (BOE) voted to adopt a 2026-2027 budget of $130,179,922, a 3.51% increase over last year. A recording of that meeting can be accessed here (please note there are two videos for February 5th).
The next step in the budget process is for the BOE to present the budget to the Board of Finance (BOF) on March 3rd. Agenda and materials will be posted here in advance. The BOF will hold a Public Hearing regarding all town budgets on March 10th, with a final vote scheduled for April 7th. Community members are welcome to provide public comment in person at all upcoming BOF meetings.
